My Creative Space

Our pumpkin harvest for this year. Some seeds were from the Lost Seed, some were saved from last year and others were given to us by other gardeners, so we have a good variety. The aroma of pumpkin soup is wafting through the house as we speak.

Here are the linen/cotton napkins I mentioned in a previous post for the purposes of hand printing experimentation.

A little messy, but not too bad!

This piece of robinia took ages to cut out as a stencil and I don't think the results were worth it. Maybe I just need more cutting practice.

Head over to Kirsty's for more Creative Spaces.

Loving the way they turned out. I think the Robinia was well worth the extra effort. I've always wanted to try fabric printing.

Wow, I am not a huge fan of pumpkins, but they look amazing...!

(Just to clarify, the soup I made the other day was for The Boy... it's his favourite, in case you were wondering hehe)

oh those pumpkins look nice. I love a good pumpky soup. How long does a pumpkin keep uncut? or do you freeze some? I love roasting them up and then using it in sauces etc.

I think the last print looks great, very natural looking.

I think these turned out beautifully.

What gorgeous pumpkins. We've just started planting our seeds here as spring is just arriving.

they turned out really pretty ! and despite what you say, even the last one. If it looks to perfect, then it would loose some of the handmade appeal and I fond all of them very nice. do you simply use some fabric ink that you iron to set ?
from the thumbnail i was sure you were in the southern hemisphere :) it is so "exotic" for me here with Spring that just started to see your harvest !
