I would love to win, so I can make beautiful stuff and expand my learning of the weaving technique.

This loom would help me so much. I am a disabled veteran and learned about weaving a few years ago. Bought a small SampleIt and enjoy working on it. Now I'm ready to work on something larger.
As everyone has mentioned, the classes would be the best part. I enjoy watching videos to give me ideas of new things to try.
Thanks for offering this prize. And a big congrats on your achievement!!!

I have been so inspired by your classes. When life got hard weaving brought such a sense of peace and accomplishment. I look forward to learning even more.

Thank you for this wonderful raffle and congrats on your success. I’ve watched all your lessons, even if the ones that are too advanced for me. I watch them over and over again. I am slowly getting more confident. I always learn something. Id like a second rigid heddle loom, as I would like to have more than one project going.

Thank you so much! God Bless!! Jody

Rafflecopter is a bit of a mystery to me, but I hope this will do, for my comment.

I'm a beginning weaver and have tried several rigid heddle looms - a Glimakra, a Schacht 24", and a very old "Mystery Manufacturer" loom. Having an Ashford 40 cm loom would be a fun and portable way to approach weaving! Having a subscription to your classes would be even better, and something I'd look forward to throughout the year. I'm sure they would help me become a better weaver! Your woven snowmen and gifts are wonderful!

Congratulations on reaching 10,000 subscribers on YouTube, and thank you for offering this prize!

Stacey said...

What a wonderful giveaway, thank you for the chance to win.
I would love to win because I'd love to own and learn to use a rigid heddle loom. I'm a visual learner, so videos teaching me how to weave would be perfect for me.

Debbie Hadfield said...

First let me congratulate you on reaching 10,000 viewers, what a fantastic achievement.
I first became interested in weaving after I participated in a rug make and take. After that event I spoke about the rug at a Knitting Guild meeting and found that some knitters were also spinners and weaver. From one of the ladies in our Knitting Guild I had the opportunity to purchase her floor loom.
The floor loom is great but there is not portability with that loom. If I had a rigid heddle I could take the loom to events that our Butler Spinners and Weavers Guild participates in across the state and at sheep to shawl events in neighboring states.

Thank you for this generous opportunity.
ps. I could not figure out the rafflecopter either.

Unknown said...

Thanks for doing this giveaway! I would give the loom to my daughter, since my 24 inch is just too big for her. I personally am most excited about the subscription, though!

Just getting started with the rigid heddle loom. While the larger loom would be appreciated, the year subscription to your classes would be the most valuable prize for me.

ma said...

I've thoroughly enjoyed your youtube videos. I don't have a rigid heddle loom, but have been yearning for one for months now.
This seems a good place (as I'm not likely to comment, generally), I'd like to 'second' others' compliments regarding the quality of your lessons. Everything is near perfect. No wasting time while you talk me through you walking across the room. You stop action and rejoin. What a gift! Yes. The photography. Never a problem seeing what you're talking about. Up close. Framed perfect. I suppose since you are the one who did all of this you already know what's well done. Clearly you have learned from others' mistakes and we're the better for it. Thanks!

Unknown said...

I really enjoyed your youtube videos. I am a beginner, and your lessons are the best. I'm also a homeschooling mom of 6, so finding time is tricky but all wonderful weavers online are such a great inspiration to start my own weaving projects! I do own a 32" Ashford loom. I would love to have a smaller one to have projects with the kids and to take with me on the go. And a year of classes would be a real blessing too!
Congratulations on 10 000+ followers!

Congratulations and thank you for your generous offer here. I want to be able to weave freely and experiment with different techniques and designs. The online classes would be so fabulous! I found you by VERY happy accident, looking up triple clasped weft on Google. I saw the image of the black and white patterned clasped weft. STUNNING!!!!! That's what I would love to learn to do!

I have a Saori floor loom, but the Ashford would be wonderful for experimenting with techniques before warping a bigger loom and for traveling with.

I look forward to exploring your blog much more thoroughly, now that I have discovered it (or it discovered me???) ☺

Genevieve A said...

I am new to weaving, having been inspired by an exhibition of tapestries at Stirling Castle, and it is a medium that really speaks to me as it is a practice that (mostly) women have been engaged in for thousands of years. I've always been drawn to textiles but I have struggled with knitting and embroidery as I am not able to hold small things for very long or do repetitive small movements, which is something I have found frustrating, but now I've discovered weaving I feel like I can really engage with textiles. I've been watching your youtube videos to dive right in to creating using my lap loom, but it has its limitations so being able to use a proper loom would be incredible and having access to your weaving school would be so helpful for my development.

With 10,000 subscribers I don't expect to win, but irrespective of the competition, your content is really valuable and I hope you continue to produce it.

Unknown said...

Congratulations on 10,000 subscribers! Winning this would help me in the path of creating beautiful textiles.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do tutorials. I'm new to weaving (currently taking lessons with our local guild), however am very intrigued with the rigid heddle loom (our guild teaches on 4 shaft and more, not rigid heddle). I've recently moved to a new country alone and not knowing anyone, I joined a local weaving class, I have to say, I'm completely hooked! In the past 4 months, with huge assistance from your tutorials, I've made over 20 scarves (this is what everyone I know is getting for Chrissy this year!) Thank you so much for your amazing generosity in the lessons you share, I would love to own a loom of my own, and the Ashford is definitely on my wishlist!

I would like to win the classes because I am ready to take my weaving to the next level. The loom would be great because I have finally found a group close by but my 32 inch Kromski is a bit large for taking back and forth.

Unknown said...

I would love this for my 6 year old son who has developed an interest in weaving. He's fascinated when I'm weaving on my 32" loom. He asked for a loom and yarn for Christmas. I got him a cheap little wooden loom from Wal-Mart and cotton yarn to learn on. I can only imagine his excitement to receive a real loom like mom's! That would be so awesome!

What a generous gift! Congratulations on your milestone.

I'd love to win this gift because I've been itching to play with a rigid heddle loom for ages. I have a homemade floor loom my cousin found for me second-hand, but it's a bit wonky. Good enough to make me keen on weaving, but wonky enough to be frustrating...and new looms are expensive!

A portable RH sounds perfect, as does a year's worth of lessons to learn how to use it properly.

I’m a newbie to not only weaving but the idea of online learning - Kelly I found you by accident and am convinced it was meant to be! As soon as I save up for my loom I will sign up for classes... winning this prize would be an amazing way to start 2018!

I currently have a smaller cricket loom and want the ability to expand the sizes of projects I can create. Thank you for all the insight you share through the many avenues of internet media.
