Finished twill towels

Hooray, the towels are finished!

All on the same warp but each one a little different.

I'm quite taken with twill as a weave structure, I had the idea that it might be a little stiff, but it's beautifully soft and supple.

The range of variations is amazing!

You can read more about the making of the towels in my previous post.

These are beautiful! How satisfying it must be to be able to weave such pretty and practical things.

Absolutely gorgeous towels! That must be a lot of work.

These are so beautiful! My favourite things are good quality home items. So much work and pride and beauty went in to these and they will look good in a different way when they get old.

How lovely! Weaving is something I have never seriously tried. Your towels make that seem more tempting.

Thank you Becki, I do so love to weave things to be used or worn :)

Rahel, thank you! Yes, a lot of work involved, but not so hard when you have a passion for it.

Ranee, it is a very enjoyable pastime but also a very worthwhile skill to have.
