Plum Jam

This is such a basic recipe and works for apricots as well as all sorts of plums.
We have eaten one jar already (in only a few days) and given another away, its lovely jam.

6 lb 8 oz fruit (whole if small enough, chopped if large)
18 fl oz water
6 lb 8 oz sugar

Put all ingredients in the pot, simmer until thickened. Put into hot, sterlised jars and seal.
Halve or quarter the recipe if you want to make a smaller amount.

Couldn't be much easier than that could it?
